About

There are many interests that I have pursued in my life. Several revolve around technology, science, and problem-solving, while others include film photography, literature, and music. I have always achieved to combine my passions with projects and studies.

That has led to a fascination with engineering robust and flexible solutions to complex problems.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you from the Czech Republic?

I was born and raised in Austria, as well as my parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.

My surname Divotkey goes back to a name change that one of my ancestors made because it was supposedly "fashionable" at that time to hold a foreign name. At least that's what the story says, which I can't and won't verify because I don't care.

What is 'Quantum Reboot'?

Some videos are signed without my name but using the term "Quantum Reboot."

This is the name of a collective and a registered association founded by myself and Michael Bauer in 2015. Most of the videos and works I realized during this time alone and with others are signed with Quantum Reboot.

The registered association was dissolved in 2020.

Do you have a graduate degree?

I studied computer science at Johannes Kepler University in Linz and successfully completed my studies. My academic degree is Dipl.-Ing. (Diplom-Ingenieur), roughly equivalent to MSc (Master of science).

However, I think that studies then and now are somewhat difficult to compare, regardless of the naming of the titles.
